What does Miyu love most in the whole wide world, you may ask? Why, that’s Winter! His ever-loyal, ever-suffering carewhumpee and older brother figure. Through years of meticulous love and attention (four years of slow, deliberate torture for entertainment and companionship purposes), Miyu has sculpted Winter into being exactly what he wants: a toy so unflinchingly devoted, so endlessly pliant, and so disturbingly affectionate that it's honestly a little scary.
Sure, Winter has his moments—a psychotic episode here, a near-death scuffle there, with the occasional emotional implosion that leaves him dangerously close to snapping—but isn’t that part of the charm? Love is blind, after all, and a few cracks and fractures only show the strength of their bond as far as Miyu's concerned. He isn’t about to let something as trivial as sanity or survival get in the way of cherishing the pet he worked so hard to ruin.
Winter, for his part, took to the older brother role very well! Too well, maybe, with the whole considering himself a slave thing, but that's just how good toys should be! Probably.
Miyu loves his games—poking at Winter, peeling him back layer by layer. Mentally, physically, emotionally—it’s all fair game. But his favorite? Watching Vortigern do things to himself.
